Warm Winter Read 2024

What is the Warm Winter Read?

The Warm Winter Read is a Public Libraries Victoria (PLV) campaign for adult readers (aged 16 and above). Through public libraries across Victoria, we are encouraging adult readers to develop long-lasting reading habits by tracking the days they read during Winter. As the temperature drops, it's the perfect time to snuggle up with a book and make time for yourself.

How to Participate

Register:

Create your own account, making sure you select your local Library service.

Log:

Between the 1st of June and the 31st of August, log the days that you read, by completing the Reading Days challenges (in blocks of 5) regardless of if you read for 5 minutes or 5 hours!

Take on a Challenge:

Participants are encouraged to complete six (6) challenge activities as they progress through the challenge period. These are not compulsory but designed to encourage readers to participate in various parts of the reading challenge.

While reading is its own reward, you’ll also go in the running to win some bookish prizes!

Happy reading!
