A New Library

The new Warrnambool Library and Learning Centre is situated at 8 Kepler Street, within the South West TAFE campus.

It is Warrnambool’s public library and everyone is welcome.

Membership is free and the library offers books, magazines, newspapers, local history materials, multi-media resources and online services for all ages and all abilities.

The Library opened its doors to the public on October 13, 2022.

There will be an official opening on October 20 and a Library Community Day on October 22 where people can come in and learn about all that the new library has to offer.

The $20.25 million library was funded by

  • The Victorian Government ($16.3 million)
  • Warrnambool City Council ($3.12 million)
  • TAFE ($830,000).
